Battlefields are where matches take place.
Infinity Wars has different Battlefields that are purchasable through the in game store.
Since patch v0.82.0 battlefield visuals have been reworked to appear closer to their IW1 counterparts, featuring enhanced lighting and materials. They also features a dynamic, initiative based time of day system. Players will be able to tell if they have initiative on a given turn by looking for the sun, and those without it will bathe in moonlight. This provides players more immediate feedback for if they currently have initiative or not. Timestopper actually stops this cycle to reflect its effect.
