Premium Cards
A number of premium card borders and effects are available in Infinity Wars.
All of these effects are purely cosmetic; they have no effect on gameplay.
Premium Effects and Borders
Gold
Gold cards have an animated gold metallic border.
Gold cards have a small chance of being found in packs. They may also be obtained as Rift Run rewards.
Gold cards can be both tradable and non-tradable (soulbound).
Foil
Foil cards have a rainbow effect that moves across the artwork of the card.
Foil cards have a small chance of being found in packs. They may also be obtained as Rift Run rewards.
Foil cards can be both tradable and non-tradable (soulbound).
Gold Foil
Gold Foil cards have both Gold and Foil effects.
Gold Foil cards have a very small chance of being found in packs. They may also be obtained as Rift Run rewards.
Gold Foil cards can be both tradable and non-tradable (soulbound).
Platinum
Platinum (often shortened to Plat) cards have an animated silvery metallic border.
In general the only way to obtain platinum cards is through pre-orders for expansions, before a new set is released there is a pre-order period in which people can buy packs of the upcoming set (and sometimes even pre-order complete playsets of the new set). All pre-ordered cards are Platinum, with a small chance of being Platinum Foil (see below).[1]
Additionally, some platinum cards could be obtained for a limited time through the following methods:
- A free blister pack containing 3 platinum copies of Vault of the Void promotional card was available to claim for a limited time in the in-game store as a crossover event with the roguelike game: Vault of the Void.
- Before Intrigue set was released, the Prestige Pass in game allowed players to obtain 1 platinum copy of some of the upcoming Intrigue cards without having to pre-order them.
Platinum cards can be both tradable and non-tradable (soulbound).
Platinum Foil
Platinum Foil (often shortened to Plat Foil) cards have both Platinum and Foil effects.
In general the only way to obtain Platinum Foil cards is through pre-orders for expansions. When opening a pre-order pack, cards have a small chance of being Platinum Foil rather than simply Platinum.[1]
Occasionally Platinum Foil cards are given to players as special rewards such as Stamped Platinum Foil cards given as rewards from pre-ordering a set (see below).
All Platinum Foil cards are tradable.
Infinite/Infinity
Infinite (often referred to as Infinity) cards have an animated blue metallic border.
Infinite cards were only obtained as rewards from competitive play in Infinity Wars 1. They were received through tournaments sponsored by Lightmare/Yodo1, through Rift Run rewards, and ranked rewards.
All Infinite cards are non-tradeable (soulbound).
Infinite Foil

Infinite Foil cards have both Infinite and Foil effects.
Infinite Foil cards were obtained as rewards from monthly team/league tournaments that took place in Infinity Wars 1.
All Infinite Foil cards are non-tradeable (soulbound).
Agent (Patreon Exclusive)

Agent (often referred to as Patreon border) cards have an animated black and purple border.
Agent cards are exclusive to Patreon supporters, and can be accessed as long as a user provides Patreon support to Lightmare.
All Agent cards are non-tradable (soulbound).
Stamped
Stamped cards have a logo stamped on them and can have any of the premium effects and borders indicated above.
Stamped cards can be either tradable or non-tradable (soulbound).
Lightmare Stamp
Lightmare stamped cards can be obtained through the following methods:
- Becoming a Patreon: all patreon supporters are given 1 or 2 tradable and 1 or 2 non-tradable copies of stamped cards with the each month.
- Leadeboard top 3: players finishing in 1st, 2nd or 3rd place on the Leaderboard by the end of the month are given x2 tradable and x2 non-tradable copies of stamped cards.
- Set Pre-orders: a variable amount of stamped cards are given as pre-order rewards depending on the pledge level acquired when pre-ordering a new set.
Sanctuary Stamp
Sanctuary stamped cards can be obtained through the following methods:
- Logging into the game during 'Sanctuary Social' events.
