October 16nd 2020, IWC Version 0.10

New Features

Dissolve effect on card death or discard

New Classic 3D battlefields and improved VFX on some battlefields

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed Commanders being able to be swapped or returned to the command zone in a way to cheat their costs
  • Fixed some missing tags and character types
  • Fixed loading screen replaying the opening cinematic after every game
  • Fixed Meditating Monk Trigger
  • Fixed some instances of Morale not displaying
  • Fixed various cards missing VFX
  • Fixed issues with the creation of random cards allowing you to get Classic cards in Infinity Heroes and vice versa

October 23nd 2020, IWC Version 0.10.2 - Hotfix

Major Features

Major Feature: External Passive abilities support added

  • The Infinity Engine now supports passive abilities that affect other cards, for example "Other Friendly Characters get +1/+1"
  • These abilities work within our existing effect node system and can be enabled and disabled as their source changes zones etc.

Major Feature: IWC Multiplayer

IWC Multiplayer has now been enabled, allowing patreons to play against each other via a temporary queue or private discord matches (see below)

Major Feature: Discord Invite Private matches

  • Invite other players to private games via discord, click on the Discord panel on the top left of the menu to begin the invite process
  • Note this feature is still very new and thus the multiplayer queue is enabled temporarily as a backup.

New Cards Added to Infinity Wars Classic

No new cards this week due to the focus on multiplayer

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed some instance of reanimation effect nodes creating strange behaviours
  • Fixed several issues with slot swapping that created strange behaviours in multiplayer
  • Fixed IWC not correctly putting cards on top of your deck
  • Fixed a false positive on our desync detection system caused by IWC specific elements
  • Fixed some units not being able to block in IWC if there were more than 5 blockers in a single combat
  • Fixed commanders being able to be played to your hand from the command zone
  • Fixed Zunshen and Protector of the Dawn not working correctly
  • Fixed a small visual glitch in the IWC deckbuilder
  • Fixed DoDamage effect nodes sometimes causing the game to freeze
  • Fixed visual layering issues with some backgrounds
  • Fixed trading post initialization to work correctly in multiplayer
  • Fixed Gao Han's movement restriction

November 07nd 2020, IWC Version 0.10.3 - Hotfix

Major Features

Major Feature: Deckbuilder Purity

IWC cards now have their purity enabled and the deckbuilder follows the purity rules

General Fixes

  • Reversed IWC history queue as it was displaying bottom to top
  • Removed real-time slot creation system that was causing multiplayer issues
  • Added additional slot checks to prevent two cards trying to occupy the same slot
  • Fixed some slots not becoming invisible when the card within them died or was removed
  • Added new width scaling to make slots look better on different resolutions
  • Trading post can no longer be targeted by some cards
  • Reanimated cards now correctly swap controller
  • Cards can now have longer spritesheets
  • Discord activities and invites should now close correctly

Specific Card Fixes

  • Devil's Bargain no longer makes the discarded cards invisible
  • Flame Dawn Commando can now pretarget target commanders
  • Taunt can now target correctly
  • Matriarch IWC no longer can heal from your hand
  • Hunt For The Dragon can now pre-target
  • Death Ray can now pre-target
  • Shikana can no longer sacrifice enemy units
  • Eaten by Zombies can now target safe zone or commander zone
  • Hehkeem VFX was too slow
  • Mass Death VFX was too slow
  • Fixed Harbinger of Light allowing you to cheat out Commanders
  • Fixed Bounty Hunter dealing bonus damage to all humans, not just the one it attacked
  • Fixed Eagle Eye having flying
  • Fixed Aleta, Sorceress targetting
  • New Rabid Rabit design
  • Fixed Fleeting Footman not fleeing
  • Fixed Infested Knight's attack trigger only giving a max of +2/+0
