Lore: Avarrach

Avarrach is the residence of the Sleepers of Avarrach. Once a thriving technological world, the Virus of Avarrach wiped out every form of life left in this reality except for Avarrach’s Aleta, who is immune due to her immortality but was driven insane by the years of torment by the virus. The reality itself is completely barren, old building remnants from the previous society remain as if frozen in time from the moment of the outbreak, most notably, the city of Kyrallic. Every speck of life has been taken over by the virus, forcing it to hibernate all its vessels until the rifts opened up, offering it new life by which to continue to power itself. The Sleepers of Avarrach then funneled themselves into the new worlds, seeking new hosts for the virus and more power in the destruction of life.
